Tataki is a cooking technique that consists of searing a piece of fish or meat in the pan, with a very strong fire for approximately 30 seconds. With this technique, we get the texture and look that we want; well-marked on the outside and underdone on the inside.

Ingredients ( 4 pax)

  • 2 packs of Frozen Marinated Yellowfin Tuna Tataki Block
  • 6 mini zucchini
  • 6 mini carrots
  • 3 oak lettuce leaves
  • 5 g mustard
  • 20 ml vinegar
  • 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 150 ml teriyaki sauce
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 ml soy sauce
  • salt

Heat a pot of salted water to boiling. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. In a skillet, add equal parts soy sauce and sugar. Reduce using medium/low heat.

Blanch the vegetables for a minute to give them texture.

Mix all the ingredients for the vinaigrette in a bowl and dress the lettuce leaves. Set aside.

To make the tataki, heat the pan well with a drizzle of olive oil and sear the tuna for 30 seconds on each side, to your liking. Now, just cut and serve.
